Ronnies....

Petaluma for the last week has been the place where I have been doing some serious R & R! It has been fantastic! With a house full of cyclists some would be skeptical of how relaxed such a place could be! However the combination of relaxed stress free attitudes by all....something I should take a lesson from...a massive TV pumping out the movies, a cool dog called Ozzie and a hot tub under the stars it is like heaven!

At the moment the house is at solid capacity with Modesta from Lithuania, Wes and Rushlee from New Zealand, Marc and Rita from Belgium (full time stayers) and the big bosses and house owners Ronnie and Pete, further more with the coming and going of other cyclists like myself, there is never a dull moment in any corner of the house! Night time brings everyone around the dinner table mostly laughing at Modesta’s stories, half off us laughing because what she is saying is humorous, the other half laughing because we can’t understand her, yet it’s amusing as she gets so excited about her topic!...saying this from experience Modesta may be easier to understand then myself for I’ve been told many of times to “slow down”....so you can image the problems when Modesta and I try to hold a conversation...it’s getting better, but you know where off key when one of us starts to stare blankly at the other while the other one is speaking!!A few more dinners around the family table, a couple more night time under the stars hot tub sessions, more bike riding and the language barrier should be all ironed out!
