This device is small in size and is a bundle of joy to work with. The Garmin tells you everything that a ‘normal’ bike computer would fill you in on and so much more! Garmin takes a couple big steps upwards in bike computer technology and records millisecond bike data that you can download to your computer and review.
The Garmin has an easy mounting system on the handlebars without zip ties, the first time I set up the cadence/speed sensors it worked the first time! The bike data display is large allowing you to view up to 8 data fields at once. The software for the Garmin tracks your Heart Rate, Elevation, Temperature, Time and Cadence on simple graphs, while also summarising and averaging these figures.
Clear display and easy to use Garmin.
The online software allows me to upload my data on the internet and my coach on the other side of the world can log in and review my training. This benefit is huge in monitoring my training and performance on precise data versus me telling my coach how I ‘feel’, thus making adaptations to my training program and measuring my improvement effective and easy...and best of all the software is free! The Garmin goes one step more and can be used with power cranks. I’m not yet to use the device with this measurement, but look forward to doing so in the future!
Garmin seems to have all corners covered, I have not yet been denied the information I want to see on my Garmin display, upload or analyse!

Might be a silly Question Ange. Are the handle bars in the pic of the Garmin the same as the one below of you on the bike? They seem very narrow.
Cheers,
John
yep they are!
