Discoveries in America never stop and today out on the bike in the middle of the Colorado Hills I was not disappointed. I headed out for a 4hour ride with Will ‘Dicko’ Dickerson. We stopped for a brew to kick off the morning however I didn’t experience along enough ‘kick’ and my arrival from climbing 18miles into the small township of Ward was the best part of my day. Fully depleted I brought a coke and Gatorade. My ultimate mix when my ride is close to finishing. The total being $3.50 for my beverages which is awesome considering Aussie prices! As I sat down and soaked up 6,000 feet of altitude, Dicko pulled out POP tarts! A double take made me realise that I was missing out and ducked back inside to get in on the action! POP tarts won my heart straight away and with the knowledge that the original is not available in Australia...the bottom of my bike box will be layered with them!
POP Tarts...sooo good!
The one thing that I will miss from Boulder is the Boulder Creek. My permanent Ice Bath only a 2min bike ride! Free ice baths in Boulder Creek.
Till next time when I’ll be writing from Canada and ravelling other useful gems of information!Ange

Hi Ange, you can rest assured that the Ovens river is as nicer ice bath that you can get. Pop tarts sound good, perhaps some sponsorship?? U could be the Australian agent, LOL.
