YOU GOTTA BUT UP WITH THE RAIN TO SEE THE RAINBOW! This week was the second round of testing at the altitude house, and what a week in was! For me, who up till this point I’ve been tapping along well, my body decided that it had enough and wasn’t going to pull me through the week of testing quite as well as I would have liked!!But nevertheless, after two doses of testing, 6 tests in total, the legs managed to survive and were more than happy to welcome the next two days of recovery!!
This week offers the return of Marv (National AIS women’s road coach) and with that training consisting of long k’s and strength. The call out form Marv “I’m watching” has made the girls even keener to once again get off the testing bike, and get out on the road!!
Amongst all the serious stuff, there has not been a day which has gone by in the house which has not involved laughing and having a good time! Something which I think will last to the very end of the camp...which is now only 2 and half weeks away!!Time fly’s when you’re having fun!!
Till next time
Ange :)
Happy snaps from the week!
