For those of you who know, great lesson’s where learned in Silver City New Mexico, that pill was certainly hard one to swallow at the time. Now fully digested, yesterday brought about a 14hour drive to Fayetteville, Arkansas, and were I’m now two day’s out from my second stage race of this year with the Webcor Builders Professional Cycling Team, Joe Martian Stage Race.
Fayetteville has brought back green land, fresh air and a nice little coffee shop! After a team lunch which filled our tummies with decent food after yesterday’s epic drive and this morning’s lack of food supply after our morning spin, we hit the grocery store for a massive food stock up!
The team is now settled into our host housing and looking forward to one more day of relaxing, before the real fun begins!
Till then
